3/6/2009 - Outdoor Activities Soon to Soar to New Heights!

Many Eastside Prep students, faculty and staff are serious outdoor enthusiasts. They are thrilled to learn the news about a soon-to-arrive addition to our campus. A Bouldering Wall will be installed this Spring.
The structure of the Bouldering Wall is taking shape now! Lauren Formo, Associate Director of Admissions, and Michael Heald, Science Teacher and faculty advisor to the Outdoor Club, are beginning to assemble the basic elements of the structure. EPS students will assist in the installation of the wall and they will even get to provide input in setting climbing routes.
The EPS Bouldering Wall will be installed on the exterior wall of the Upper School Building, and it will be used by students for PE activities, as well as by the Climbing Club and the Outdoor Club.
