4/8/2009 - King County Recognizes Eastside Prep

On Friday, April 3rd, King County Executive Ron Sims notified EPS that the Eastside Preparatory Impact Center (EPIC) for Sustainability has been selected as a 2009 Earth Hero at School. Each year Mr. Sims’ office invites nominations of teachers, staff, programs and local schools doing exceptional work to protect our natural resources. EPIC will be recognized for its focus on sustainability as a philosophy for both education and action.
Eastside Prep will be sending four representatives to the Earth Heroes at School award ceremony on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at Maplewood Greens, 4050 Maple Valley Highway in Renton.
