5/15/2009 - All School Musical Attracts Sold-Out House!

The all-school musical, "Little Shop of Horrors," performed to over 650 people in two performances at the Kirkland Performance Center. On the show's closing night, the standing-room-only crowd stood in a pre-show line that spread out of the lobby and around two sides of the theatre!
Over 40 students were members of the cast, crew or orchestra. Over 80 EPS parents served as volunteers who assisted with the production. More than 4,000 hours of time were devoted to rehearsing and preparing for the production, which played to enthusiastic crowds on May 13th and 14th.
We look forward to the 2009-2010 EPS Theatre Season, which will include Sophocles' classic tale "Antigone," translated by Bertolt Brecht; "Grimm Tales," comprised of timeless children's tales; and a spring musical (to be announced).
