6/15/2009 - First Class of Graduating Seniors!

On Friday, June 12th, 2009, an audience of approximately 300 people--not including the 50+ Eastside Prep faculty, staff and Board members--gathered at the Kirkland Performance Center to warmly congratulate the Class of 2009 as they received their diplomas.
This is a historic, landmark moment for the school. It is the end result of long years of hard work and sacrifice on the part of many. Of course, the ten graduating seniors (as well as an international student who received a certificate of attendance) deserve quite a bit of credit for their academic diligence. Nonetheless, the commencement would not have been possible had not countless individuals shared their vision, volunteered thousands of hours of time and talent, and provided the financial support necessary to make Eastside Prep a reality. Many thanks to all of our school's supporters!
Our graduating seniors are now off to colleges and universities across the country. They will soon be attending Arizona State University (honors program), Brown University, Chapman University, Dickinson College, Lewis & Clark College, the University of Denver, and the University of Washington - Bothell. Congratulations, Class of 2009 and best of luck in college! Please feel free to always return to visit!
