9/21/2009 - Cross Country Places First at Seward Park Meet!

At the first Cross Country competition of the season, Eastside Prep achieved a first place finish at the Seward Park meet on September 17th! This is another “first” for Eastside Prep athletics—our first team competition that resulted in a first place.
Over one-hundred-and-ten runners from nine different schools competed. The co-ed Eastside Prep team was represented by eleven runners—the best turn-out for cross-country ever. Seven Eastside Prep runners finished in the top fifty runners, including three EPS runners in the top ten!
Congratulations to the entire team for a fantastic performance—we’re proud of all of you! Shortly after returning to campus, Coach Henry and Coach Olsen learned that another five runners may soon be joining the Cross Country team. Go Eagles!
