B.A., Secondary Education with a Biology and Environmental Sciences concentration, Northwest University, Kirkland, WA

Sarah previously worked as a classroom teacher and technology integration specialist in grades four through seven, as well as a summer camp and after-school program director at Evergreen Academy in Bothell for over five years. She has also worked as a tutor in reading/writing, math, science, and study skills for more than eight years. Sarah first came to EPS as a long-term substitute in Middle School science and Upper School Guided Study Hall in early 2013, and she joined the EPS community full time in September 2013 as the Student Safety Coordinator. Sarah then joined the faculty full time in 2014, teaching Middle School science and math and coaching the Middle School robotics team. In the 2018-2019 school year, Sarah began teaching technology courses and running the Middle School maker space.  In her free time, Sarah enjoys sewing and other Maker projects, gardening, and spending time with her husband and their son, Milo.
