Student leaders from the Allies for Equity Club led a community conversation for 8-12 students and faculty yesterday afternoon addressing the killing of George Floyd and the subsequent demonstrations. Seventy students and staff participated in the discussion in which they examined the historical context of racism in the United States, processed current events, and explored ways individuals can take action to make positive changes in their community and world.
