Let’s travel to the Midwest and the great city of Chicago. First, we will get out of the city and explore, work, and cook on local farms while learning and assisting with their organic agriculture. We may explore goat kidding and livestock care, cheesemaking, and take part in a team cooking competition with farm and foraged ingredients. We will also head into the woods to explore the biodiversity of local forests and stream lands before making our way back to the Windy City. In Chicago, we will venture to the Navy Pier, Field Museum, and take a river cruise, while also taking time to investigate and help at a community garden. The week caps off with a Deep Dish Pizza cooking class. Yum, yum, a delectable trip to the Midwest!
