Not Panda Express - Cooking and Eating Across ChinaThere’s a lot more to Chinese food than Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork and Boba. Go on a culinary adventure through the different varieties of Chinese cuisine, learning about the diversity of ingredients, tastes, cooking styles, and influences. Students will go shopping at a local Chinese supermarket, attempt to recreate characteristics dishes and cooking methods, and will, completely unsurprisingly, eat well! Students should expect to be exposed to unfamiliar flavors, ingredients, and taste sensations. An open mind and a sense of curiosity will be vital for full enjoyment of this EBC.
