Ever wondered what it is like to be a wildlife biologist or photographer? Come join us as we spot, photograph, track, monitor, and collect data on coastal wildlife. April is an excellent time to view migratory birds, so we’ll be looking for them, but filling out the rest of our schedule and locations based on the final group’s interest and feasibility. We’ll be accompanied by the author and photographer of “Birds of the Pacific Northwest Mountains”. We will work to get active researchers and volunteer conservation organizations to help us contribute to projects such as the COASST (Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team) and ongoing efforts by the Seattle Audubon Society and the Puget Sound Seabird Survey. We will be meeting at different locations each day within an hour of EPS to maximize our range of species sightings. Go avian!
