Join us for a journey into the heart of our Nation’s Capital, Washington D.C. We will explore places of the past, meet with officials working in the three branches of government, and experience an amazing variety of historical and cultural attractions. Explore the monuments and museums that tell the dramatic story of the United States from its earliest days to the present. Get a firsthand look at the workings of government, and venture to the very places where laws are made. Take a fresh look at American history as the events and people that have shaped our country come to life. We will be moving fast and far across the city with lots of walking and good eating in between site visits. We will also attend a theatre performance and a professional sports competition. There is also flexibility in our schedule to adjust and add destinations based on input and interests of student participants. Washington D.C. is a great American city and a must-see destination for anyone interested in understanding the history and inner workings of the United States.
