Dear Eastside Prep Community:

As we conclude the 2024–2025 academic year, we reflect with gratitude and pride on all we’ve accomplished together. This year reaffirmed the strength of our mission, energized our strategic priorities, and highlighted the impact of community investment.

People: We continued to prioritize attracting and retaining exceptional, diverse faculty and staff. Our professional development program—enhanced by local cultural experts—fostered innovation and well-being across all grades. Our Equity, Inclusion, and Compassionate Leadership (EICL) Design Group met weekly since November, supported by Blink Consulting. The group developed our first Director of EICL role and launched a Belonging Audit, underscoring our commitment to neurodiversity, mental health, and inclusion.

Program: Educational innovation thrived. New senior seminars—like Comparative Religion & The Science of Well-Being and Deliberate Design: College, Career, Life—supported independent learning and modern assessment. Faculty also reimagined curriculum and digital citizenship to better engage today’s students.

Partnerships & Community: We deepened engagement with partners at every level. Students in our Civic Engagement Seminar worked directly with Pacific Northwest tribal and state legislators. We also expanded conversations with nonprofits and launched our new In-Residence program through a partnership with colleague.ai.

Plant: Facility audits and planning began this year to align our campus with evolving pedagogical needs—focusing on flexibility, safety, and sustainability, while exploring future strategic acquisitions.

Support from Our Community: This year, 95% of parents/guardians and 100% of faculty, staff, and Trustees contributed to the Annual Fund—an extraordinary show of support. These gifts sustained essential programming, student services, and professional development.

We also continued to grow the Better World Endowment, advancing faculty excellence and student support. Momentum from our inaugural $7 million campaign carried forward, thanks to continued family generosity. Your contributions have not only sustained our mission—they’ve fueled our progress.

Looking Ahead: Guided by our Strategic Priorities—People, Program, Partnerships, and Plant—we are excited for the work ahead.
