Henry Gould is a passionate humanities educator with experience teaching courses that integrate philosophy, economics, law, and technology. He brings an interdisciplinary lens to the classroom, emphasizing inquiry-based learning approaches to help students think critically about the complex institutional systems, as well as the evolving ideals and cultural narratives that shape life in the United States and globally. Henry received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley, and Dartmouth College, as well as a Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law. Outside the classroom, Henry enjoys playing soccer and going on road trips with his wife, Nicole. They are also proud parents of two tuxedo cats.
“My hope for the EPS community is that every student feels empowered to ask bold questions and engage deeply with the world around them.”
