Krissy joined EPS in the fall of 2018 and teaches Scientific Thinking 1 (6th grade) and Environmental Science (Upper School). Before EPS, Krissy spent twenty years as an educator in one form or another, holding titles such as teacher, technical assistant specialist, school Board Member, outdoor educator, teaching assistant, and tutor. No stranger to independent schools, Krissy was previously a faculty member at Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Carbondale, Colorado, where she taught science and math and served as a student advisor.

In her free time, Krissy enjoys long hikes in nature, connecting with people on a deep level, and figuring out how to minimize her impact on the planet. She is also mom to three teenagers.

“There is nothing more exciting to me than working with young people to empower them to reach their highest potential. The EPS mission and vision, which are so alive at our school, encourages them to do just that.”
