Meet the Team

We are here to partner with students, faculty, staff, and families to help weave equity, inclusion and compassionate leadership (EICL) into the EPS community and way of life.

Hye-Won Dandino

“Hye-Won Dandino joins EPS as the Director of Equity, Inclusion, and Compassionate Leadership, bringing over fifteen years of experience in advancing student-centered and equity-driven practices in schools across the country. “What drew me to EPS was its clear and enduring commitment to belonging—not as a buzzword, but as a guiding principle for how we learn, lead, and care for each other,” she shares. “There’s a powerful alignment between the community’s values and my approach to inclusive leadership.” – Hye-Won Dandino

Sam Foote
US Wellness, Interim EICL Coordinator
sfoote@eastsideprep.org

“Sam (she/they) will be joining the EPS counseling team with one main question in mind – how do we best support young people in building robust and healthy relationships with themselves, their peers, and their communities? With a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Health Sciences from Gettysburg College, Sam has worked with young people in a variety of roles in the past several years. To name a few, these roles include garden educator, Boy Scout camp chef, behavioral specialist, group facilitator, and mentor. Sam holds a youth and healing centered philosophy that works to understand and celebrate all of our complex identities and experiences in order to build collective spaces of empathy and care. As a self-described “lounging enthusiast” you can often find Sam cozied up with a home-cooked meal and a short story collection or having a good laugh and conversation with her friends and beloved cat, Sugar.” -Sam Foote

Jenn Chi
Admissions Communications & Events Coordinator, Assistant to EICL
jchi@eastsideprep.org

“After twenty years in banking, Jennifer made the leap to EPS in February 2019, bringing to her role a love of operations and client service. At Eastside Prep, she takes joy in assisting families through the application process, connecting with them at events, and offering support to the Admissions Team whenever needed.” – Jen Chi
