Insightful Questions: Responsible Action – Care for the Environment
Welcome to EPS Insightful Questions, a monthly podcast produced by EPS. This year, we’re exploring the theme “Act Responsibly: Care through Clarity,” inviting voices from across the EPS community to reflect on how clarity shapes thoughtful action. Each episode offers a window into how communication, planning, leadership, and collaboration become more meaningful when grounded in shared purpose and intentional care.
In this episode of Insightful Questions, Head of School Sam Uzwack is joined by student Alyson (Class of 2027), faculty member Burton Barrager and Marinn Carpenter, a resource specialist for King Conservation District for a conversation about caring for the environment with intention. They discuss how EPS can help students grow into environment stewards and reflect on a place each of them feels connected to the environment. As Alyson notes, “Nature connects everything.”
Join us as we explore the insights that inspire compassionate leadership and intentional listening!
Special thanks to Oliver C. (Class of 2023) for the music and to our production team (Vickie Baldwin, Derek Clarke, Alek Edmonds, Tina Hadden). Please email insight@eastsideprep.org for any questions.
