She returns to Eastside Prep after spending January-March 2020 as a long-term substitute in counseling, where she enjoyed providing wellbeing services to our school community, and uniquely, supporting our transition to EPSRemote. Amy has experience as a counselor at several Seattle-area independent schools as well as multiple schools in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to being a School Counselor, Amy is a Licensed Associate Independent Clinical Social Worker and considers herself a lifelong student.

Amy recently returned to her hometown of Seattle after spending a decade in Chicago. Amy greatly enjoys running and responds affirmatively to “Hey, are you the person running down Lake Washington Boulevard before school?” In her free time, Amy also enjoys cycling, hiking, cooking, and reading narrative non-fiction.
