Wanyi Yang (’16)

Wanyi joining Allison Gliner in Washington DC.  She will be starting a job in economic/litigation consulting, working at a small boutique firm Economists Incorporated.  Wanyi, too, reports on a unique spring.  She writes, “This spring was a weird experience, but not because I was stuck in a dorm every day. It’s more about how politically charged this experience was…coronavirus made the borders more closed off, and it was used as a weapon for crimes against Asian Americans which was really hard to watch. And currently, the protests supporting African Americans are occurring while a pandemic is going on…disease, politics, so much of both at once.”
