The Upper School Debate Team regular season wrapped up in March. This was the fourth consecutive year that EPS students qualified for the Washington State IE (Individual Events) Tournament, and the first ever time to qualify for the Washington State Debate Tournament.

Kalie (’22) and Ria (’23) both competed in the 3A Impromptu Speaking event with Kalie finishing second across Washington.  This is the best-ever performance at the State Tournament for an EPS student! Meghna (’21), Eamon (’22), Jack (’23) and Zubin (’23) competed in the Washington State Debate Tournament.  Both teams advanced to the elimination round with Meghna and Eamon ultimately finishing fourth in the Public Forum Debate.  Jack and Zubin qualified for the National Tournament and will compete in June.  Congratulations to all and good luck jack and Zubin!
