Angela, this Costa Rican soul “lost” in the Pacific Northwest paradise since 2014 is very excited to join the EPS family for the 2021-2022 academic year. She comes with three years of experience as a Spanish teacher in a private school and five years of experience as a translator and tutor for middle and high school kids in her private practice. She believes that learning a second or third language will expand tolerance towards different cultures and beliefs; and that it will open new doors and possibilities to the students in today’s globalized world. She always encourages curiosity in literature in her students since she believes reading is the key to enter new worlds, to dream about lost realms and to be creative in your own imagination. Being able to support environmentally friendly causes, nature conservation, animal welfare, fair trade, and holistic ways of living makes her life more meaningful. She is a passionate nature and food photographer as well. In her free time, she loves cooking for her twin teenagers, spending time with her extra furry gray lady cat, and reading. Being outside hiking, camping, backpacking, traveling, and capturing moments and landscapes with her camera put a big smile in her face.
