Kaitlin Medeiros, LMFT

School Counselor

M.A., Counseling Psychology, University of San Francisco; B.A., Psychology, University of Denver

Kaitlin (she/her) is joining the team at EPS after spending the past 8 years working with adolescents in an intensive outpatient program at a community hospital in the heart of Silicon Valley. Prior to that, she completed her pre-licensure training at public middle schools and high schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kaitlin has been licensed as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in California since 2016. In addition to her work with adolescents, Kaitlin also holds a certification in equine-assisted psychotherapy from the University of Denver, has provided horseback riding instruction to military veterans, and has co-facilitated workshops on equine-assisted learning through Stanford University.

As a Bay Area native, Kaitlin comes to the Seattle area in pursuit of a life-long dream to relocate to the Pacific Northwest, since California does not get enough rain for her liking. In her free time, she can be found at the barn with her horse, exploring bookstores and libraries, shooting and processing film photography, and discovering all the Seattle area has to offer.
