Also: MS Advisor, MS Grade Level Coordinator
B.A., Spanish Language and Literature, B. A., English Literature, Beloit College; Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador

Malcolm was born and raised in Seattle and is delighted to be putting down roots in this beautiful part of the world. Despite his affection for the Pacific Northwest, Malcolm’s passion for the Spanish language and his love of engaging with Spanish-speaking cultures has led him to live, study, and work in Paraguay, Ecuador, and the Dominican republic (in addition to traveling through half a dozen other Latin American countries).

Malcolm started teaching Spanish in 2015 and has taught every grade from fifth to twelfth at Twin Cities German Immersion school in St. Paul, Minnesota and at Lakeside School in Seattle. His teaching philosophy is driven by a desire to inspire in his students the same joy and excitement for language learning and cultural engagement that he himself has felt for years.

“I love to learn as much as I love to teach and I hope to imbue students at EPS with that same enthusiasm.”
