Have your students ever slept outdoors?  Are they interested in camping, but just haven’t had a chance to try it out before?   Upper School students are invited to participate in an Introduction to Camping Trip on Saturday, October 1 through Sunday, October 2.  No experience or special gear is necessary.  We will provide everything you need to try out a night in the outdoors.  We will drive to the campground in a local wilderness location and set up camp for the night.  We will do some exploring of the woods and forest around the camp, but will not be backpacking or doing heavy carrying.  We will prepare and cook our meals at camp.  EPS will supply all the gear, equipment, and food and help you learn to go camping on your own.  We will be sleeping in tents with sleeping bags and pads.  This is your chance to get into the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.  Experienced campers are also invited to join this Fall outing.

We will leave campus by EPS shuttle bus early Saturday morning and return early afternoon on Sunday.  Contact David Kelly-Hedrick if you have questions.

A packing list and more information will be supplied to registrants. Sign up HERE.
