History of the Upper School
Eastside Preparatory School (EPS) opened its doors in the fall of 2003 with just seventeen students enrolled in the 6th and 7th grades. From the beginning, small classes, dynamic programming, and close teacher-student relationships were emphasized. Those traditions continue today.
While the Eastside Prep Upper School was planned from the founding of the school, it did not officially come into operation until the 2005-2006 school year. Thirteen pioneering freshmen and a small handful of dedicated teachers helped launch the new division successfully. In June of 2009, we graduated our first class of ten students.
