Information for EPS Parents

While we have no known or suspected cases of the COVID-19 virus in our community, we do not feel it is prudent to wait until there is a known case to take action. To that end, we have decided to implement our distance learning program through our previously-scheduled spring break. This is a preventative measure aimed at prioritizing the health and safety of our community members. Over the past several years we have focused on technological tools that enhance our teaching, and we are perfectly positioned to change the modality through which we teach while continuing to deliver the excellent education for which Eastside Prep is known.

EPS has been working with Microsoft Education, whose focus is on Teams and OneNote for the past several years. We will be conducting school online for the first three weeks of the third trimester, which begins on Monday, March 9. School will take place online through March 27, 2020. On Monday, March 30, we were originally scheduled to launch our EBC (Education Beyond the Classroom) program, which involves international and domestic travel. Those trips have been canceled. At this time we anticipate reconvening on campus effective April 13.
